Osama Bin Laden was the world’s most infamous terrorist. Everyone knows about his atrocities and impact of his campaign of terror.  But how much is known about the man himself and what set him on his path to destruction.

From a quiet and introspective son of a billionaire to global terrorist mastermind, Bin Laden: The Inside Story will chart the story of Osama Bin Laden’s transformation, narrated by those who witnessed every step of the journey he made.

Featuring the testimony and accounts of those who knew Bin Laden as a child, a student, a fundraiser-turned-fighter in Afghanistan, the leader of Al Qaeda and the driving force behind 9/11 – the series will adopt an alternative lens through which to view his life rather than the one audiences are familiar with.

Through those close to him, including childhood friends and major figures inside Al Qaeda, alongside the accounts of FBI and CIA agents who tried to track him down, the series will weave a never-seen-before story of what led to one man’s determination to wage war on America and change the world as we knew it.

The Bin Laden: The Inside Story series was commissioned by Channel 4 in the UK will be made by Voltage TV with executive producers Sanjay Singhal and Jo Abel.
